I had that extra 20 pounds that so many of us have. You know, a little fried food here, a little sugar there. (Hey, I live in the South, and you’ve seen how Paula Deen cooks, right?) Then we adopted my son’s dog when he moved to an apartment that doesn’t allow pets. Now that I go for a walk with the dog every morning and every evening, I’ve lost about 10 of those pounds. I know it probably sounds like a chore, but I love those walks. It’s about the only time I have to myself. Maybe these next 10 pounds will eventually come off too. If they do, I’m buying myself a pair of expensive jeans!! And maybe some high heels to go with them!!
